African Lion Poster African Lions are the second largest living cats on earth, behind the tiger. Unlike other cats lions are social and live in ‘prides’ which generally consist of some related females, offspring and a small number of adult males. The African Lion lives in the savanna grasslands of the sub-Saharan regions of Africa. Despite their reputation, lion attacks on people are not common.
